rockets Saturday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 12:25pm Makkah time Sunday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
forces fired two Grad rockets into a US military headquarters in the
as-Sahl area of wester Rawah, about 315km northwest of Baghdad, on
Saturday evening.

reported eyewitnesses as saying that the missiles scored direct hits on
the American-occupied facility setting off a number of powerful
explosions, one after the other, inside the base. Plumes of smoke rose
over the facility and then American helicopters flew in and could be
seen prowling the skies over the area for several hours.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance fighters ambush US patrol in
southwestern al-Fallujah Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 3:18pm Makkah time Sunday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
fighters carried out a powerful assault on a US patrol in southwestern
al-Fallujah on Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported eyewitnesses in the 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah housing complex as
saying that Resistance men armed with rockets and light and medium
machine guns attacked a US patrol near the complex, sparking a half hour
battle. An amphibious armored vehicle was destroyed in the attack and
all the US troops aboard it were either killed or wounded. At least two
of the Americans were believed probably to have died in the attack, in
view of the severity of damaged done to the vehicle.
Resistance bomb damages US Humvee; Resistance
mortar blast US base in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Makkah time midday
Sunday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb
had exploded by US occupation forces in al-Fallujah and the American
base known as al-Mazra'ah ("the Farm") came under mortar barrage.

reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the
side of a main street near the al-Fallujah Fire Department in the
ad-Dubbat neighborhood went off by a US patrol, damaging a US Humvee.
The witnesses said that the blast caused several
casualties among the Americans but no one was able to offer more details
of their nature or extent because US forces quickly closed off the
entire area and shopkeepers nearby hurriedly closed up for fear of the
random reprisals that the Americans usually make in such circumstances.
Meanwhile, Iraqi Resistance forces fired four heavy
120mm mortar rounds into the US base known as al-Mazra'ah ("the Farm"),
which is the largest US base in the al-Fallujah area. The barrage set
off powerful explosions within the US-occupied facility.
Resistance bomb rips through puppet "National
Guard" patrol in al-Fallujah Saturday night.
In a dispatch posted at 11:42am Makkah time Sunday
morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb
exploded by a patrol of the Iraqi puppet army in al-Fallujah on Saturday
night.

reported eyewitnesses in the Nazal neighborhood as saying that a bomb
that had been planted by the side of a road in the as-Sadd Street area
of southern al-Fallujah went off in an extremely violent blast by a
passing puppet army patrol at 8pm local time Saturday night.
The witnesses said that the explosion totally
destroyed a patrol vehicle, killing four puppet "Iraqi National Guards"
who were aboard it. Following the attack, the Iraqi puppet forces
opened fire indiscriminately on nearby homes and then made arrests of 13
youths from among the residents of the area, despite there being no sign
that they had been involved in anything.

In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Makkah time Sunday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that pro-Iranian Shi'i
sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen backed up by puppet Iraqi army
troops carried out coordinated attacks on Sunnis resident in the
al-Hurriyah district of Baghdad beginning on Saturday night and into
Sunday morning. In all more than 200 Sunni families were driven out of
their homes in the area.

reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Shi'i sectarian gunmen and
puppet government troops used loudspeakers to declare: "To the children
of Mu'awiyah the infidel and 'Umar the homosexual, you have just half an
hour to leave your houses or we will burn them over your heads."
Witnesses said that Iraqi Resistance fighters in
the streets and atop roofs in the area did battle with the Shi'i
sectarian attackers, killing 14 of them but the US-backed puppet
government troops were fighting on the side of the Jaysh al-Mahdi and
that gave them the advantage in the engagement.
Local residents said that half of the weapons being
carried by the Shi'i sectarians were Iranian made and new.
Half an hour after the attack and under heavy
gunfire, the residents of the area left their houses to sleep in the
streets and the Shi'i sectarians set fire to them.
The correspondent walked through the neighborhood
and reported that of 12 Sunni mosques that had been in the area, only
one remained. The 11 others had either been burned down or turned into
Shi'i Husayniyahs.
Local residents during the night sought
intervention by the US-installed puppet regime to halt the sectarian
attacks of the Jaysh al-Mahdi, but their requests fell on deaf ears and
on Sunday morning the Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen and militiamen led by Jalal
as-Saghir, the Iranian cleric and member of the American-installed
puppet "Iraqi Parliament" (who also runs the notorious Buratha Mosque,
where dozens of Sunni Iraqis have been tortured and murdered), renewed
their assault on Sunnis in the area. The pro-Iranian sectarians killed
22 local residents in unequal gun battles and proceeded to burn down the
Sunni al-Muhaymin Mosque, killing its guard and muezzin Shaykh Khalid
Khalifah. In House No. 20, No. 6 Lane in Mahallat 426, a woman was
found dead, apparently sexually assaulted in front of her husband who
was found tied up and dead as well.
The correspondent reported that more than 1,000
people, including many women, children, and elderly people from the
areas had found temporary refuge in the Ma 'ruf al-Karakhi Mosque the
al-Ibthal School and other places in the districts of al-'Adl,
al-Jami'ah, and al-'Amiriyah.

by Muqtada as-Sadr, a Shi'i cleric loyal to Iran, which is seeking to
extend its regional hegemony and step into the shoes of the American
occupation in Iraq. The Shi'i sectarians, seeking to implement a
partition plan that would divide Iraq into three states in accordance
with schemes drawn up by Zionist and US strategists, have been working
to "cleanse" mixed neighborhoods in Baghdad of Sunni residents.
Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen attack western Baghdad’s
al-Ghazaliyah neighborhood.

afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that pro-Iranian Shi'i
sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia were at that hour pounding the western
Baghdad neighborhood of al-Ghazaliya with Iranian made mortar shells and
short-range rockets

blasted into houses, shops, and streets in al-Ghazaliyah, as of the time
of reporting.

underway between pro-Iranian Shi'i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen
and local Sunni residents in the al-'Amil neighborhood of Baghdad.

mortar barrages. More than 30 of the Jaysh al-Mahdi attackers and seven
of the Sunni defenders were reported to have been killed in the battle,

US forces seal off, search neighborhoods in

afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces
together with their Iraqi puppet army allies surrounded two areas in
northern Baghdad on Sunday morning and launched a campaign of raids and
searches there.

reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Americans and their Iraqi
puppet allies surrounded the al-Qahirah and as-Salikh neighborhoods and
then launched raids and searches of local houses. The main streets in
the area were closed off and US armored other military vehicles deployed
in the areas as helicopter gun ships flew in overhead.
As of the time of reporting the area was still
sealed off and no one was allowed to leave his home, not even employees
of the puppet "Government."
Officer in puppet police abducted in Baghdad
Sunday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Makkah time Sunday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
fighters abducted an officer in the puppet police from on of the squares
in northern Baghdad on Sunday morning.

reported eyewitnesses as saying that armed men in civilian dress driving
a late-model car abducted a traffic officer at gunpoint from Aden
Square, located between the districts of al-Hurriyah and al-Kazimiyah.
The correspondent reported that the fighters took the officer away to an
unknown destination, with puppet police in pursuit. The police,
however, were unable to catch up with the abductors.

Resistance men ambush Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen
near Balad Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Makkah time Sunday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
fighters executed at least six members of the pro-Iranian Shi'i
sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi in the city of Balad, about 80km north of
Baghdad on Saturday.

reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance men ambushed two
civilian BMW cars belonging to the Jaysh al-Mahdi militia near the
tomato paste factory in the city. The witnesses said that Resistance
men armed with light machine guns ambushed the two cars when they showed
up on the scene, killing more than six of the sectarian gunmen before
they could even respond. The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the
area.
Samarra’.
US soldier reported killed in Samarra’ Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:14pm Makkah time Sunday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance
marksman shot and killed a US soldier in Samarra’, about 120km north of
Baghdad, on Saturday.

reported eyewitnesses as saying that an American foot patrol was going
through a market in the middle of Samarra’ when one of the US soldiers
took bullet in the head from a Resistance sharpshooter’s gun. Witnesses
said that the power of the impact raised him slightly off the ground and
then he fell to earth dead. The other American troops were overcome by
hysteria and panic, witnesses said, and they opened fire into the air to
keep people away from them.
Another patrol then showed up to cover the retreat
of the first group and helicopters prowled the skies above the area for
more than four hours after the attack.
Bayji.
Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills two US
soldiers Bayji Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:55pm Makkah time Sunday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance
marksman shot and killed two US troops in the middle of Bayji, about
200km north of Baghdad on Saturday.

reported eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance sharpshooter shot and
killed two US troops in a military camp in the al-Karamat area in the
middle of the city. Sharpshooter bullets struck two American soldiers,
one after the other, directly in the head, killing them instantly.

US troops kill three of their allies, the puppet
"Iraqi National Guard" by mistake on Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Makkah time Sunday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops mistakenly
killed three puppet "Iraqi National Guards" east of ad-Dulu'iyah, 97km
north of Baghdad, on Saturday.

reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a US patrol
engaged in a clash with Iraqi Resistance fighters near the ad-Dulu'iyah
Bridge on Saturday. The Americans then went searching through local
gardens and areas near where they had been ambushed looking for the
Resistance men. Coming upon a new checkpoint manned by members of a
squadron from the puppet "Iraqi National Guard" in the Khazraj area east
of ad-Dulu'iyah, the US troops opened fire, killing three of the puppet
"Guards."

Resistance fighters gun down Iraqi puppet
soldier on leave in al-Mawsil Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:54pm Makkah time Sunday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
fighters shot and killed an Iraqi puppet soldier in eastern al-Mawsil on
Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported a source in the puppet police as saying that an unknown armed
group opened fire on Khalid Yusuf 'Umayr, an Iraqi puppet army soldier
who was standing with his brother in an area where gas is sold in the
city. The source said that 'Umayr was killed instantly. At the time he
was dressed in civilian clothing and away from his military unit on
leave.
