Iraqi woman gives birth to twins – Jihad and
Fallujah – by the side of the road at US checkpoint after being blocked
from entering al-Fallujah to go to hospital.
In a dispatch posted at 2:16pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that in what has become an
increasingly common occurrence, an Iraqi woman gave birth at a US
roadblock outside the city of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.

al-Islam reported the female physician Sana’ Ahmad as saying that a
24-year-old woman gave birth to twins at the US checkpoint at the
eastern entrance to al-Fallujah after the woman and her husband had been
blocked from entering the city to go to the hospital. The Americans
prevented her from getting into the city despite her obvious medical
condition and despite the fact that her identity document proved that
she was a resident of the city.
Dr. Ahmad said that the woman delivered the twins
next to the concrete barricades set up around the checkpoint by the
American occupation forces. After the birth the woman and her two
newborns, a boy and a girl, were taken by ambulance to the hospital in
al-Fallujah.
The new father told Mafkarat al-Islam that
they had decided to call the boy Jihad and the girl Fallujah. He added
that his wife was protected by God’s mercy as she gave birth in the
street between the cement barricades.

US artillery shells mosque, houses in ar-Ramadi
Tuesday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 6:55pm Makkah time Tuesday
evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier,
US artillery fire had targeted the Harun ar-Rashid Mosque in the
al-Jumhuriyah area of central ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that American artillery had fired four shells, two
of which struck the Harun ar-Rashid Mosque, inflicting heavy damage on
the prayer hall and other rooms of the mosque. Two houses nearby were
also destroyed.
At the time of reporting, fire was spreading
throughout the place of worship despite efforts by local residents in
the last few minutes to extinguish it.
Three US soldiers reported killed in clashes in
ar-Ramadi Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:35pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that intermittent fighting
between Iraqi Resistance men and US occupation troops had been going on
in ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad since Tuesday morning.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that the fighting in the first 15 minutes was
centered around the al-Mal'ab area and then spread to a wider area after
the arrival of American reinforcements on the scene. The combat then
spread to two more neighborhoods in addition to al-Mal'ab – ad-Dubbat
and as-Sikak.
The battle went on for about three hours and then
was followed by sniping. The correspondent reported Resistance sources
as saying that one US vehicle was destroyed and a second disabled and
three US troops were killed and nine more of them wounded in the
combat. One Resistance fighter was also killed.
Resistance bomb destroys US minesweeper in
ar-Ramadi late Monday night.
In a dispatch posted at 2:56pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance
bomb exploded by a US column in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad
late on Monday night.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported residents of the area where the attack took place as saying
that a bomb that had been planted in the middle of the road in the
as-Surah area near the as-Sufiyah district of eastern ar-Ramadi went off
by a US column badly damaging an American minesweeping vehicle.
Since the attack took place late at night during
the hours of curfew when residents were not allowed out of their houses,
no information on the nature or extent of US casualties was available.

US, Iraqi puppet army troops kill Iraqi civilian
in wild gunfire in Hit Monday night.
In a dispatch posted at 4:44pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops
shot and killed an Iraqi civilian during clashes with Resistance
fighters in the city of Hit, about 165km northwest of Baghdad on Monday
night.

reported eyewitnesses as saying that a force of US troops together with
their Iraqi puppet army allies fought a fierce battle with a group of
Resistance fighters near Hit General Hospital on Monday night.
The witnesses said that the Americans and their
Iraqi puppet allies were firing indiscriminately and intensely in every
direction and not specifically towards where incoming Resistance gunfire
was coming. As a result of their wild shooting, one Iraqi civilian who
was far from the area where Resistance men were shooting at the
Americans was killed.

Resistance bomb destroys American bomb disposal
robot in southwestern Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 2:35pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
forces planted a bomb with the intent to target US or puppet troops in
the al-I'lam neighborhood of southwestern Baghdad. The Americans learned
that a bomb had been planted there, however, when pro-American Shi'i
sectarian gunmen informed them of the explosive device.

reported eyewitnesses as sayign that the Americans brought in a robotic
bomb disposal officer. Although the Americans had been alerted to the
presence of the bomb, the Resistance was still able to detonate the
device by remote control and in so doing they completely destroyed the
American bomb-disposal robot.
Resistance blasts Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen with
rockets in western Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 2:18pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
forces fired two S5K rockets into a concentration of pro-Iranian Shi'i
sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in western Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported that the Resistance blasted a concentration of the Jaysh
al-Mahdi militiamen in the al-Hurriyah neighborhood of the Iraqi
capital, scoring direct hits on the building. Eyewitnesses said that
the barrage left about 20 of the Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen dead or wounded.
Early morning bomb rips through Baghdad district
where puppet "ministries" are located.
In a dispatch posted at 8:36am Makkah time Tuesday
morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded in
the middle of Baghdad on Tuesday morning, killing at least 40 people and
wounding 34 by preliminary reports.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported an official of
the puppet "Iraqi Interior Ministry" as telling Reuters that the
explosion occurred on at-Tayran Square, where numerous puppet ministries
are located, at about 7am local time. After the blast the sound of
gunfire rang out in the smoke enveloped area.

Resistance fighters kill member of pro-American
Kurdish separatist party.
In a dispatch posted at 4:55pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
fighters shot and killed a member of the pro-American Kurdish separatist
Kurdistan Democratic Party in the town of Qarah Tabbah (Qarah Tappah),
about 130km northeast of Baghdad.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party is headed by Mas'ud
Barzani, a political operative whom the US occupation forces have
installed as "President" of the northern Iraqi region known as
"Kurdistan."

Resistance bomb leaves four US Marines reported
dead in Ba'qubah. Americans shoot Iraqi youth for laughing at US
corpses.
In a dispatch posted at 6:56pm Makkah time Tuesday
evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb
exploded by a US Humvee in the as-Sufiyah district to the northeast of
Ba'qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad.
The Ba'qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb explosion was followed by
a Resistance rocket attack that blasted the stricken American vehicle in
two, killing the four Marines who were aboard it.
The witnesses said that US troops rushed to seal
off the area where the attack took place. They proceeded to arrest 17
local people. The Americans also shot and killed a man who laughed with
joy on seeing the four bloody corpses of the dead Marines sprawled
around the area. Witnesses said that 'Umar 'Abd as-Sattar, a young
student in the College of Dentistry was laughing over the deaths of the
Marines as the Americans arrested him and when he was walked past the
scene of the attack he laughed even harder prompting the Americans to
shoot him even though his hands were bound. 'Abd as-Sattar died
instantly.
Resistance men kill puppet policemen in Ba'qubah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:55pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
fighters armed with machine guns shot and killed two puppet policemen as
they drove their car in the at-Tahrir area of Ba'qubah.
The correspondent reported a witness as saying that
the Resistance attackers were able to leave the area after carrying out
their assault.
US troops kill member of family during house raid
in Ba'qubah on Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:13am GMT Tuesday,
Quds Press reported that US troops on Monday raided the home of
Ja'far 'Abd al-Hasan ad-Dalfi in the at-Tahrir neighborhood of the city
of Ba'qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad. There they arrested
ad-Dalfi, his daughter Fadilah, and his son Talib. An American perched
atop a US military vehicle, meanwhile, shot and killed ad-Dalfi’s other
son, Hafiz.
The correspondent for Quds Press reported
that after killing the one son and arresting the other family members,
the Americans proceeded to destroy the house, smashing the furniture and
other family possessions.

Resistance blasts US consulate in al-Hillah where
Mossad agent is said to be among the American staff.
In a dispatch posted at 1:59pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance
forces fired four mortar rounds at the US consulate in the city of
al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad at dawn on Tuesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported residents in the al-Mu'allimin neighborhood, which is located
near the American consulate, which is located in the Babil Tourist Hotel
on the al-Hillah shores, as saying that plumes of thick smoke rose from
the facility after the blast.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that there were
more than 50 US employees working at the al-Hillah consulate. Among the
American officials is believed to be at least one officer in the Zionist
Mossad secret police according to residents of the city.

Four US troops reported killed and seven wounded
in Resistance car bombing in al-Mahmudiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Makkah time midday
Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance
fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a US military
column in al-Mahmudiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad at 9 o’clock local
time.

al-Islam reported that the Resistance man, driving a sedan blasted
into a US column on al-Gharir Tribe Road. A source in the Resistance
told the correspondent that the explosion killed four US troops and
wounded seven more of them, in addition to destroying one Humvee and
disabling a second.

Iraqi puppet army general survives third
assassination attempt near Kirkuk Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 4:30pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the commander of the
First Brigade of the infrastructure of the Iraqi puppet army survived an
Iraqi Resistance bomb attack near Kirkuk on Tuesday.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that Brigadier
General Safin Haydar survived the bomb explosion that went off by his
motorcade at the crossroads in the al-Hindiyah area south of Kirkuk
which he was passing on his way to his office.
The correspondent reported that the blast caused no
casualties. It was the third assassination attempt on the life of
General Haydar to take place in or near the city of Kirkuk.

AP cameraman shot, killed in al-Mawsil Tuesday
morning.
In a dispatch posted at 4:39pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that unknown armed men shot
and killed a cameraman working for the American Associated Press (AP) in
the northern city of al-Mawsil Tuesday morning.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat
al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that
an armed group opened fire on Aswan Ahmad al-Jaff, a cameraman working
for the AP as he was driving his car near his home in the at-Ta’mim
neighborhood of eastern al-Mawsil, killing him instantly.
Quds Press reported a source in the puppet
Press Office in al-Mawsil as saying that al-Jaff’s body had been taken
to the Forensic Medicine Institute. The source said that the puppet
police had begun an investigation into the shooting, noting that the
identity of the killers was still unknown.
Quds Press noted that about a month earlier Mahmud
Alban, a cameraman for ash-Sharqiyah TV, was killed. Previously the
city also witnessed the death of a woman journalist who worked for the
local bureau al-'Iraqiyah TV.
More than 80 journalists and 27 assistants have
been killed in Iraq since the American invasion in the spring of 2003,
most of them killed by US troops, Mafkarat al-Islam reported.
Quds Press reported that over 150 journalists had been killed in Iraq
since the American occupation, according to semi-official statistics
compiled by journalist organizations and associations.

Jaysh al-Mahdi commander in an-Najaf found dead
in suspected internal Jaysh al-Mahdi fight over tithe money.
In a dispatch posted at 1:36pm Makkah time Tuesday
afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that sources in the Iraqi
puppet police had announced that they had discovered the body of a
pro-Iranian Shi'i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi commander in his home in
an-Najaf on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam
reported the sources as saying that Sayyid Khamis was found shot to
death in his home in the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood of an-Najaf. He was
shot in bed in what the puppet police said was an internal dispute among
rival groups within the Jaysh al-Mahdi militia.
The source explained that major splits within the
pro-Iranian organization over the gathering and distribution of Shi'i
tithes and alms collected from Shi'i believers in support of the Shi'i
shrines in an-Najaf. Those funds are known variously as al-Khums,
an-Nudhur, and al-Adahi and the puppet police source said that the
killing came a month after various factions within the Jaysh al-Mahdi
had begun to exchange accusations over the control and handling of the
money.
